3 Days To Marrakech From Fez
Embark on a scenic journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, exploring lush landscapes, Berber villages, and possibly encountering a Barbary Ape colony in the national park. Descend towards the Sahara, stopping at Midelt for lunch.
Follow the Ziz River through Kasbahs and palm groves, entering the desert after Erfoud.
Overnight at the base of Erg Chebi sand dunes.
After breakfast, return by camel to 4x4s and head back to Erfoud. Set out for the Todra Gorges, taking a walk in the towering Todra Gorge with cliffs reaching 985 feet.
Continue towards the Dades Gorge, passing by the unusual rock formation of Tamnalt Hills.
Overnight amidst the red and mauve rocks of Dades Gorge.
Discover the iconic Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a jewel hidden in the mountains, known for its use in various films. Lunch at Ait Benhaddou, then traverse the Atlas Mountains via Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260m) on the way to Marrakech.
